Okey-dokey--at the suggestion of Travelinman67, I've started this thread to attract the ol' Patriot League clientele of AGS. Plus anyone else with a fetish for self-abuse can participate in this ongoing saga that probably outstrips those threads wondering whenever the Ivy League will join the land of the living and participate in playoffs.

When last we met, there was word that 'nuthin' was going to happen until the Presidents of the League schools met in June. Even, then, whatever happens may not be discerned to the super slowmotion with which the ivory tower wonks move.

One can only hope it has come. I can't help thinking that the PL will do nothing, Marist will come aboard as an all-sports member (for all Marist's insistence about being a "basketball" school, its Men's BB team has one (1) win this year) and that will be the end of the story.

The PFL may be willing to trade you Marist for Georgetown, but only if you throw in a future draft pick....
