Just curious...
Since you did sign a large number of guys, is the Demons staff expecting a few non-qualifiers in the bunch?
Great article in the Town Talk about how the Demons spent their hours leading up to signing day BTW.

You've some 3 stars in there right?
Nice pick-ups
I think the only question(s?) I have is why so many? How many did you graduate and/or did the new coaches clean house? That's a lot of recruits.

TT, I really am not privy to that info so I wouldn't know. I do know that one of them was a PROP from last year that got his grades in order and will be eligible to play this season. I listened to just a few minutes of the radio broadcast and Peveto did mention that we GRADUATED 21 players...that is not including kids who left or were dismissed. The running back transfer from Nebraska was dismissed because of attitude. I also know we lost an OL that transfered to a DII school.CatMom wrote:You've some 3 stars in there right?

Catmom, I am not sure how much "cleaning house" the new coaches have done but the above running back was dismissed for attitude. Peveto had a rough go of things his first season but I do know from people closely associated with the program that he does not put up with the same crap that Stoker put up with.
As far as the number of players signed, part of it may have to do with the fact that the coaches got to see for an entire season exactly what they were left with and, IMO, this class is hopefully better than last years in that they got the players we need for our system and program.
