jon,

any rumblings in Flagstaff about Jerome's job and the year he needs to have?

Souer's contract runs through this year - he needs to have at least a winning season to get another contract. Souer's teams have never gotten over the hump, other than in 2003 - generally good enough to keep him employed, but not good enough to be a national contender.

I would be disapointed if NAU doesn't go 8-3 this year. We should go 2-1 in OOC, and I think we will be better than last year. We should be able to go 4-0 at home in the BSC, playing Sac St, Portland State, Weber and MSU. We should be able to win at ISU and UNC. leaving losses to Montana and EWU.

It is tough to win many games with NAU's scheduling woes - we are always playing at least one money game. We are replacing last years roadie to App State with a roadie to SUU, so we'd better go plus one at least in the win column with that.
