It's under new ownership....anybody know who the new owners are?

As I posed elsewhere, the new owner's should be transparent and disclose their identity.

No idea on the new owners. I can vouch that it is not me!

For those wondering what I'm doing, going to keep a presence on both boards. Even since AGS re-opened today, I've posted a few times here and there.

I think there's some FCS topics that will find their way here, that won't be on AGS and vice-versa. Got to try to cover all those bases by reading both boards.

Even if i decide to go back to AGS I'll still post here quite a bit. I quite enjoy CS.com

Good question? If I were the owner, which of course I ain't, I would be very cognizant of the issues surrounding AGS, considering both the treatment of members and the recent shut down. I would be very clear stating the identities of the owners and would very clearly state the intention of the board with respect to members and what is allowed and what is not.

My feelings have always been that an owner can run a board the way they want to and people can choose to participate or not. But hiding identities, inconsistent application of the rules and then the shut down of the board make even the most stalwart of fans skeptical. Can't say I won't return but certainly have no good reasons to without some sort of statement of what it is going to be like.

all I can say for sure is that some of the people previously banned, are still banned. they have a number of redirection problems over there.

I will stay here. Maybe pop in and out on AGS- this seems to be a better board.

oh how i love cs. i just registered and then got a message saying : you have been banned. reason-none. time before the ban is lifted- never. thats....just great. GO CS

MOD 33 is still on the job over there. I just got an infraction for writing "f'ing" in one of my posts. Actually, I was quoting UNH.

Yeah my reason for ban last year was "we know you are, stay over 'there'".

Eh, I also wasn't able to register for AGS, I tried a couple of times, but didn't know about this site then. I like this place more, so screw AGS- they need to let people register, or it's a joke.
