It'll be hard to do considering there will be no 2010 National Championship game.

I think William and Mary or Townson should get a shot this year. It's time for some new faces.JMUpurplehazed wrote:I think it is JMUs turn again
JMU has been a non-factor since 2004. They can't even hold home court.

I got a pretty serious bet riding on Towson not winning it this year...I hope to jebus that they don'tBearIt wrote:I think William and Mary or Townson should get a shot this year. It's time for some new faces.JMUpurplehazed wrote:I think it is JMUs turn again

If I was a UNH fan I would worry about the NCAA sending us to UNI or sending UNI to our place again.green&gold75 wrote:If I was a UNH fan, I might be saving this post.AZGrizFan wrote:

Since we know that the odds are that Montana will be in the game, when they move it to Frisco they should just change the name to Montana Vs. the Nation.JMU DJ wrote:As a fan of JMNOVADELAWILLTOWNSONMARYMOND University, we will beat Montana this year.
It would be a good way to market it to the locals in Texas and it would represent what the game is really about.

Re: Which CAA South beats Montana in 2010 NC?
Despite losing five graduating seniors to the NFL, including two draftees and three free agents, Jimmye Laycock's Tribe returns lots of talent that has been building up in quality ever since they opened the College's fourteen million dollar
Laycock Football Center two years ago. Recruits see this magnificent building on their visits, their parents see the fact that W&M graduates 95% of its football players, and many more good ones are signing on for old W&M.
Despite the loss of Lissemore and Tracy to the pros (after they receive their degrees in a week or so along with the three free agent signees) the Tribe's defense will again be among the best in the nation..led by six returning linebackers,
whose speed and toughness is as good as anyone's. An improved secondary, led by the magnetic (to thrown footballs)
BW Webb, will help and Laycock has three good defensive linemen, all of whom played lots of minutes last season,
to help replace Tracy and Lissemore.
On offense, the loss of the graduating qb Archer (who signed with the Vikings last weekend after the draft) has opened up a great battle, still undecided after spring practice, between North Carolina transfer, Greg Paulus--who has two years of eligibility remaining--, and the former first team all-Jersey flash, Brent Caprio, now a redshirt freshman. Stay tuned until August to see who finally wins the battle between these two talented qbs. Both are classic Laycock quarterbacks.
All-American punter, David Miller, is back and will dual an incoming freshman for the place kicking duties.
No cinch for W&M to get to the Championship but Jimmye has some horses and you cannot discount W&M.

Sorry for the addendum, but forgot to mention that William & Mary has its three top running backs returning,
including the incomparable Jon Grimes, who has over 2000 rushing yards, plus nearly another thousand catching passes, in just two seasons, Barring injury, Grimes will leave in two years as one of 1AAs greatest backs ever.

Kind of what I thought.

You guys are wrong if you think ANY CAA team wins the title. The national champion will either be Montana or the Sacred City.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

You crack me up SH. A winning record is needed prior to making the playoffs, winning in the playoffs, let alone going undefeated in the playoffs.

You haven't been paying attention to our improvements in the last few years, SE. We'll see if you're LMAOing after the season....
