I'd assume so, and I have no problem with the cause... but "Pinking Out" a football game? I haven't seen any news releases yet, just the Facebook info.

Wonder if they will be donning pink Uni's also.

NFL, NASCAR, everybody does the pink stuff for breast cancer awareness month, but even though prostate and colon cancer combined kills more than breast cancer, no one does anything for prostate cancer awareness month.

But...you're basically correct...not much else...

Somebody needs to "man up" and do a Brown Out for colon cancer. I'm all for healthy boobs but this is getting ridiculous.

Pretty simple.. everyone loves checking out nice female breasts... but no one wants to get a good look at a guy's colon.

True but I am so fucking sick of the "pink" bullshit at all the sporting events. Fuck you and your "awareness" bullshit (not you CM). I don't need a pink fucking pair of shoes or some other stupid bullshit to remind of the wonder of titties. I KNOW THE FUCKING VALUE OF A GOOD TITTY!! You wanna do some real good show me those SOB's and I'll hand all you fund raising titty queens $20 a pop. Wear a pink fucking bra if you want to but stop wasting any god damn money on making what men wear in a pink shade and put that money toward the "save a titty fund" as well.

I salute your decision DJ.

The officials for today's game will help us with our Prostate and Colon Cancer Awareness Event by having their heads up their arses.

While I do agree with getting rid of breast cancer, it is interesting that very little is done to make people aware of the prostate and colon cancers. I am a survivor of colon cancer (2007-2008). If it wasn't for the colonoscopy that I had in Jul of 07....I would probably be DEAD! :shock: After surgery and nine months of chemo... I am doing fine. :thumb: Remember both men and women die of colon cancer! while it is rare, men also die of breast cancer!

Seems like a "Grab a Boob, pay $5" promotion would boost my awareness and be a more effective fundraiser (in my pants) :nod:

That's nice for the cancer awareness thing.
However, UMass should be wearing pink jerseys anyhow as a refelection of how they have played the majority of games the last two years.

Full marks to the PR effort for breast cancer awareness. Still, breast cancer + all other cancers in women combined (including gyn, colon, lung) still 2nd place in U.S. female mortality causes behind heart disease. Coronary risk factor reduction in women continues to be a major ongoing issue.

Hence the "Go Red for Women" movement: http://www.goredforwomen.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

not to be confused with the Alice's Restaurant Anti-Massacre Movement.

Let's move this worthy concept into the high school realm..."Flatulance Friday" would be a big hit at the high school level.
