If Wyoming can support a team, why cant UM. If UM expanded their stadium to 30k the fans & community would love it and support them through through the transition.

Good point.

One difference - there is only ONE four year school in Wyoming. Besides Montana, there is Montana State, plus several smaller state schools to support.

IDK anything about Wyo football, the point is *IF WYO CAN SUPPORT A FBS TEAM, UM def can! UM has a 25 k stadium already!! 5k more and theyve got a 30k fbs stadium with the fans to back it. Montana moves to FBS, Game.Set.Match.Irrelevant in 49 states.

IMO Montana is one of the few schools that could move to FBS in the near future and be successful right out of the gate if they decide to go that route.
