I posted this a couple days ago on http://www.bigskyfans.com/, but no-one seems to go there anymore (other than SuperHornet). I was pretty close with my predictions last year, so here goes…

  • 1. Eastern Washington__8-0_____9-2_____ May sweep the conference despite losing 4 starters on the OL
    2. Weber State__________7-1_____9-3_____ Depth is a concern, but the starting lineups look great
    3. Montana _____________6-2_____9-3_____ Playing EWU & Weber away to open the conference season isn't good
    4. Montana State _______4-4_____6-6_____ Too many question marks to project them any higher
    5. Northern Colorado___3-5_____4-7_____ Bears return the vast majority of their starters
    6. Northern Arizona ____3-5_____5-6_____ No Alex Watson means no passing game for the 'Jacks
    7. Portland State________2-6_____3-8_____ Just too many key losses from last year's underachieving squad
    8. Idaho State __________2-6_____3-9_____ Losing Josh Barnett means a delay in Bengal progress
    9. Sacramento State ____1-7_____3-9 ____ I sense many close defeats due to losses on the DL

Three playoff teams: EWU, Weber, &, of course, Montana.
Eastern Washington may get a top-4 seed due to an 8-0 record against FCS.

I like Weber too, PX, but I'll walk naked through the streets of Missoula if they go 7-1 in conference.

Change Missoula to Ogden & I imagine they'll deliberately drop a couple games. ;)

Hey man, whatever it takes. As long as one of those games is Montana!
