FCS Teams on NCAA 11

Post by SouthDakotaGrizzly »

I think there was a thread about this awhile back, but it's buried now. In any case, FCS teams are not included in NCAA 11, but you can create them using the online TeamBuilder program. Since NCAA 11 was released today, I expect the number of FCS teams on TeamBuilder will be increasing soon (I've been unable to find a complete, up to date Griz team yet). So, if you create your team, post here and let us know about it (be sure to indicate whether it's for PS3 or Xbox 360).

UNI

The ratings aren't "correct". I just filled players in with highest rated player at that position to who I saw as the highest rated player.

The o-line isn't done, because I have no freaking clue what we are going to have there. The ratings are high, but I'm working on dropping them down.

I would work on it now, but the computers at work don't have the most up to date programs (re: adobe flash), and I don't have access to update it since I'm not one of the university tech administrators

I made Youngstown State for Teambuilder 11. PM me if you want to know which one it is... word of advice: it is the most up to date of all of them.

I'd love to get a bunch of FCS teams and put them in the MAC or something like that.

If you are going to make them, don't make them crappy players. I tried to do that last year but every team I found used the cupcake format and didn't change their players to adjust for the FBS

One of our players is doing TXST. I'll see if I can get him to share the info when he's done.

As I've no clue. What do you need to know/have?

I had one TxSt downloaded but it SUCKED bad. The stadium was set for the Texas bowl, uniforms sucked, roster sucked, so I deleted it.

I've updated my UNI team quite a bit. Added the o-lineman names, maybe not where and who will be playing, but at least our players names are there.

Right now I have pretty good versions of ASU, Delaware, SIU, SDSU, SIU, Montana, YSU, Sac St, and UNI. I'm looking to use all 12 of my slots. I also had Cal Poly, Richmond, Georgia Southern, along with TxSt, however the rosters/uniforms/stadiums were terrible so I deleted them and am looking for replacement FCS schools to add to my dynasty league. I'm going to replace the Big East teams with the FCS schools to get the Conference title game (FCS championship if you will) and BCS autobid. That league pretty much sucks anyway.

I've looked at some NDSU and other schools but they have all sucked as well. The uniforms are completely off (petty I realize but I don't care), they play in a 80K plus stadium (again petty), or their rosters have ratings of 99 across the board or 60's across the board.

I'm picky with this, I get it. Right now the average stadium size of the 8 teams I have is 40,044 and the average "overall" ranking is a B+/A-. The only reason the average stadium size is that high is that my SIU, Montana, YSU, and Sac State all play in 50,000 seat generic stadiums. ASU plays in Wake's stadium(31,500), SDSU in Ohio's (24,000), Delaware in San Jose States (30,456), and as of now I got UNI in Colorado States (34,400) and I may change UNI's if there is a big CSU logo with that field. I may just end up going to TCU's, but even that has a pretty good amount of TCU logo all over it.

Tim Hawkins (QB) is working on it, as of earlier this evening. He said it isn't done yet so this would be a newer, updated version. I'll hit him up on Facebook and see what's up with it all.

I'd love to have a TxSt team, and especially one to see what a player on the team thinks of his team. Do you know if it will be xbox or PS3?

I'm looking at adding TxSt, SFA, SCSU, JMU, or UMASS. I need 4 quality teams to fill this out.

I have enough to fill the Big East, but if I can hit the B12 and move the B12 teams to the Big East and the Big East teams to replace some crap WAC/MAC type teams I'd be thrilled.

Is this the thread you were talking about? I sent the guy a PM like a week ago and I haven't got a response back, and he hasn't been on here since this thread got hijacked/died so i don't know whether he'll get back. He originally said that he was going to go and do every FCS team and put in their roster, playbooks, stadiums, uniforms, and everything else, but like I said, he hasn't been back here in 3 months.

I would like to play in a Dynasty league. I will play as Northwestern State, first time in a long time that I have actually bought the game. I made a team, but I might need to go back and adjust the player ratings, they seemed a bit high, but compared to the big schools, its not all that great. my screen name is WaBoh on PS3. Here is my team as it stands (still need to go back and adjust)

I am waiting until mid to end of August to have a 2010 GRIZ team ready to go. Last year, I did it much too soon. This year am waiting to see what the depth chart will look like. Yes, I do make the GRIZ very competitive from the get go.

I also added a fun twist to my teambuilder this year. I created an EGRIZ team from posters that wanted to be part of the game, and few more contributors at EGRIZ. You can find my teams under mtgrizrule.
