Everytime I see that dome it looks like it is covered in snow at first glance. I guess you count Liberty if an indoor track counts. But I don't believe we use it as such very often.

if playing football GAMES indoors is for wusses (as many around here seem to think),
then practicing indoors is REALLY for wusses.

Unless you play for Montana. In previous years, practices HAD to be held indoors in August because of smoke from surrounding forest fires.

No, not me. I'm one of those rare Montanans who's never graced our great outdoors. This season is far different from previous as to smoke. No fires of any size in Western MT yet. I believe most fires are lightning caused, not man caused, due to Smokey.

Still, UM players last year had to put up with practices on indoor basketball courts.

Why do they need this? In case it rains?

Last I heard, Towson is going to convert the TowsonCenter into a indoor practice facility after the new basketball arena is built. Much like the new arena, I'll believe it when I see it.

We need this because we still have natural grass on our football field and on our outdoor practice fields. When it rains, we don't want to tear up those fields so that practice indoors. Also, it helps when we host our pro combine.
