Yes it is. It will be played in December. They had a D3 game, I believe, last year and plan on having a FCS game this year. This was attempted a long time ago and did not happen. Will be curious to see if they can get this one off the ground as well.

Forget it - maybe I'll just ask the guy who's in charge of it, considering he was my high school football coach.

You do all realize this is smack dab in the middle of playoffs, right? (also my birthday ). How they going to pull that off? Also, what about the SWAC stuff? Maybe they have a huge couple of lists so they can eliminate players that can't make it (even if they deserve to be there)?

Did you look at the stadium? I think it seats about 187. All-Star game in NY in December. Nice try, but it won't last. The goal is not to have the best players of FCS. I wonder if each of the selected players is required to sign up for an Amway distributorship and recruit 3 friends.

Which is exactly why I don't think the FCS game will ever work.

And btw, this is an attempt to make money as is this guy's entire operation. Its not a scam or anything like that, the intentions are noble, but in the end its a for-profit business.
