About those silly newish names: Football Bowl Subdivision (Division I-A) and Football Championship Subdivision (Division I-AA). D1-A and D1-AA were perfectly good names, so why the change?
Seriously, one sentence he properly identifies the former names as I-A and I-AA then the very next sentence his misidentifies the names as 1-A and 1-AA what a complete moron.
There was also this bit from the story...
What cupcake will upset an unsuspecting football power? Pitt hosts lower-division New Hampshire, which the Panthers surely scheduled expecting an auto-win. But reader Bryan Reynolds of Haverhill, Mass., notes the UNH Wildcats have five straight victories against Division I opponents, including Rutgers and Northwestern.
UNH a cupcake? Really dude? Get a clue....
He also identifies William & Mary as a cupcake opponent for North Carolina...
This guy shouldn't be allowed to write about college football.
