Respect for Montana?

Post by grizzaholic »

Ok. I posted this here because no matter what warning and plea that I posted at the beginning of this thread it would turn into smack and then Andy/Bandl would throw out a hijack and it would spiral downward into the abyss.

Lets try and keep it civil, ok boys and UNH?

Now that the season is upon us it got me to thinking about the up-and-coming playoffs. Expansion, yeah, but the CAA got me thinking. Lets say that Montana makes the playoffs this year, I hope so but who knows, and ends up going to the NC game. But along the way Montana has to play 3 CAA teams to get there and then another in the NC game, AGAIN.

But this time Montana beats all 4 CAA teams and wins the NC, wishful thinking I know, by playing at home or on the road doesn't matter to me.

Respect isn't the right word but, Does Montana get any from the CAA?

Answer needed for another thread.
Thanks.

Why do you think fans in the CAA don't respect Montana? Don't let our disdain for your conference fool you. 8-)

Why wouldn't he be? He's the one that you, I, and all other Griz fans primarily battle with and most likely primary genesis of this type of thread.

I was just looking for other's opinions for something that I am working on.

I honestly don't think you're going to get a different answer from any other CAA fan. Nobody in the CAA has an issue with Montana. Hell, we all wish you guys would make it to the NC game every year. The CAA only has problems with AppSt in the finals. 8-)

Well thanks for nothing.

On second thought, just nothing. I shouldn't have expected anything from this group. :ohno:

If 'nothing', or none, is the amount of NC titles Montana can expect to win against the CAA, then I agree.

I am seriously interested in knowing what you were looking for. The CAA fans don't disrespect the Griz. I'm sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.

Yeah, it looked like honest answers to me. What were you looking for Grizza?

What are you looking for??? For someone to dis the Griz???

It's a premier program...it has made the NC more than just about anyone (Or more than anyone)...

It's won two National Titles...

What's not to respect???

Now, if the thread title was RESPECT FOR BIG SKY CONFERENCE... :coffee:

I agree with 89Hen and CluckU. I have a lot of respect for Montana. I even respect the BSC, but I understand why the BSC gets so much flack.
