SUU Centrum: 8,000
The Centrum is nicer stadium than all of the big sky minus Weber. The state of Utah has very good basketball facilities.






SUU Eccels Colosium: 8,500
SUU football stadium reminds me of EWU minus the red turf and is the size of EWU and UNC. Eccels has no portable bleachers either so it looks nice even though its a small capacity.

When I played football at Clearfield High, we played Scrimages against American Fork and one team from Wyoming and one from Nevada in Eccels Coliseum, its small but its not a bad place. Being in the Big Sky could help SUU get the money necessary to "upgrade" thier stadium, add more seats on the east side and bring capacity up to about 10-12,000. I hope SUU gets the nod and I think they will, the Big Sky is looking for a FULL memeber and North and South Dakota dont field Division 1 basketball teams, SUU does.

So unless The Sky is waiting to see if one of the WAC teams (pressumably Idaho) want to drop and join, I think the Sky will chose SUU.

And weberwildcat you need to add a couple of new schools to your sig

They do have them, they are just still in the transition years I think so they aren't eligible for the NCAA tourney i believe

Oh I never heard that, I thought they were still D-II. Anyway I still think the Sky will take SUU, it just makes sense, but than again who knows.

Wikipedia says Eccles Coliseum holds 8,500. the only thing "Roose" Stadium has going for it that SUU's dont is the red turf, at least you were able to out average SUU in football by a whopping 444 fans 5,365 to 4,921. SUU did have a record crowd of 10,028 fans vs Dixie State, powerhouse EWU never had 7,000 to a game.

I've been to both and im sorry BF the Centrum is WAY better than Reese Court, and SUU fans actually come out to watch thier team SUU averaged 2,135 to EWU's 1,563 though thats not that great its better than EWU.

Except maybe being more competitive in football what makes Eastern so much better than SUU?

An Eastern fan is the last person that should be talking attendance smack. Eastern averaged 5,176 a game last year. That's less than the pathetic 6,500 that Weber averaged.

basketball facility: suu would have one of hte nicest in the conference
football facility: they would be in the bottom 3

the point of this thread is that suu is on par with the big sky for overall facilities. the big sky isn't the big 12.
