USD higher than than SDSU?
JMU straight to number 1?
With KU dismantling #15 GT where does NDSU shoot to?

Perfect examples of why early season polls are meaningless...

the pollsters will definitely be conflicted, having to factor in the whole NDSU beating Kansas beating GT thing,
as well as the Bison loss to the Panthers.

 Somebody is already defensive and the game hasn't even started! You must be worried.

not really.
since when is showing some confidence in one's team (and perhaps a smattering of smack) translate into being defensive?

Quite a few games to think about

Four FCS wins
JMU over Virginia Tech
South Dakota over Minnesota
Gardner-Webb over Akron
Liberty over Ball State

Northern Arizona is within a touchdown of Arizona State at the start of the 4th

Cal Poly over Montana
UNI over North Dakota State

McNeese St. loses to Missouri 50-6

Eastern Washington defeats D2 Central Washington by 3
Eastern Illinois loses to Central Arkansas by 30
Furman defeats Colgate by 30

While G-W's win is impressive, there's NO way they go higher than Liberty....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

If we don't break in at #24 or #25, we should be darned close. Does LU move up four or five spots?

I wonder if my Bears will be back in the top 20? I guess we'll have to defeat Murray State to break in the top 20. :coffee:

A win over Western could see GDub actually losing some votes.
