You may not sneak up on them but you can still hang around and get a lucky bounce or two...

Good luck...You'll need it. There is swagger back in the program in Ann Arbor...

meh, they beat an ok Uconn team and fairly slow defensive team in ND. I'm not sold on them yet.
Thats the thing with Dick Rod's offense. When they get that offense going, they look like the greatest teams in the world, but when they meet a team than can defend, they can just look awful.
I'm hoping Michigan will beat Iowa, though. I'd love to see that.

I'm hesitant to be completely on board right now with UM, but with the way Denard is going UMASS doesn't stand a chance. Not only can he run, dude has a cannon for an arm.
I'm more worried about our defense tightening up all of those holes in the secondary than I am our offense right now. Our secondary is patchwork city right now.

Good luck, it will be tough stopping the new "Pat White".

Umass is an awful road team , cant see this one being close in the big house. Both Sagarin and Massey ratings have Michigan about a 16-17 point favorite which would be stealing money if they put up that line up. Havens has looked good this year but last year on the road he was dreadful . Whats he gonna do with 100,000+ in the stands?

I wouldn't be shocked if the line was 25 at kick. I'm not saying that's my prediction but it could happen.
The big house is now the the bigger house as the base seating is up to over 109,000. For the UCONN game there was over 113,000. With the love affair with shoelace right now I'd be shocked if there is less than 111,000 there

Good Luck to the Minutemen! Hope you pin a big L on Michigan. Remember you beat an even bigger spread at Concord!

I'm rooting for the Minutemen, but if the line is any less than 35, lay the points. That QB is scary. What is the NCAA record for rushing yards by a QB?

I'm not going to say I think we'll win but I hope we keep it close. You never know though, FCS teams are beating FBS teams more than they used to and we are talking about Michigan. I'm sure Michigan fans will have App St. in the back of their heads all week

If Michigan hadn't been stung by ASU a few years ago...this would be the perfect game for UMass to sneak up on the Blue...
But...with their QB...and the memory of a "little" school shaming them...I doubt we have that much of a chance...
Still...gotta hope for the miracle....

Looks like Armanti Edwards transferred back to college football...even has the dreads. Bring it on Michigan, I'm excited for the game no matter what the outcome...we pick up $550k no matter what...We will be able to run on them and score some points, what Michigan scores will depend on our fast linebacking core containing Armanti's twin brother.

The 313 Armanti torched Richmond for in the 2007 Semifinal.

I was thinking that yesterday when some talking head on ESPN claimed that "Shoelace" had set the NCAA record.

Probably the FBS record...but the FCS isn't D1 (barely NCAA) in their eyes. Are you shocked they would say that?

Btw, the opening line range is UM -28 (5dimes) and -21 (USAToday). I guess it'll settle around 25.

I wouldn't be surprised if a FCS QB set such a record against a FBS school and ESPN would find a way to gloss over it....

Always good to see UCONNvicts lose. But I'll be rooting for UMASS in this one.
GO UMASS!

The first goal is to win.
If we can't do that, the second goal is to take it to overtime.
If we can't do that, the third goal is to lose by less than UConn did.

Good luck UMass - if they keep it within 4 TD's I'll be shocked.

This is just a game against Delaware clones with Armenti Edwards at QB, and with 87,000 more people in attendance.

Considering UMass's overall record against Delaware (without Edwards or the extra 87k people) that doesn't bode particularly good for the Minutemen.

For some reason I think D-Rob is a little bit better than AE
