cal-davis still gets a couple votes and is ranked higher than Sac State after their 38-24 drubbing and complete domination of non-scholie USDiego.

I doubt it. UM was #6 and lost to the #18 team. They may even stay in the top-15 given how many of the top teams lost.

They're 1-2 with the only win being a DII. Justify that as a top 15 team...for now, I don't see it. :ohno:

Lots of upside for NDSU considering the Kansas win and the win over a very good Morgan State team.

Better not argue with him. He knows.

Probably a good case for them to not be in the TOP 25 for the first time in...how many weeks???? 145? Something like 12 years???

Same goes for SIU.

This is the EXACT reason preseason polls...and first 3-4 week polls are worthless.

There will have to be a lot of changes... 5 of the top 10 teams from the FCS Coaches Poll lost (but one lost to another team in the top ten...) I think your new top ten in the coaches will have to be richmond moving up into the top 3 (i don't know who they'd jump) AppSt., Villinova, JMU, JacSt, and i think SFA will move into the top 6 or seven. I think you have to move Eastern Washington up ahead of Montana. My new top ten i guess would be:

Villanova
James Maddison
App State
Richmond
Jacksonville State
Stephen F. Austin
Eastern Washington
Delaware
William and Mary
UMass

It'll be interesting to see which of the 5 big losers gets ranked highest out of the lot. I'd expect montana to be above the other four. I'd also be interested to see where both Grambling and Southeast Missouri State get ranked

After what happened to the MVFC today I would say NDSU has strong upside potential. Might be worth a look!

SFA would beat NDSU by about 200

I put JMU at #1. Until I see something to show me NOVA is better than JMU I'm sticking with it.

Until I see something to show me (TEAM A THAT HASN'T PLAYED TEAM B) is better than (TEAM B THAT HASN'T PLAYED TEAM A)...

Your logic. It goes both ways.

YSU, MSU and Ill St all get looks this week from the MVFC. Don't know if they will be ranked or not, but SDSU and SIU didn't look very impressive. NDSU finally may have found a QB and an offense and should probably remain in the 15-25 range, just behind UNI who lost to a ranked team.

You realize that Jax St. beat Ga. St (a 1st year program) in OT and W&M beat 2nd year program by 4 after trailing most of the game, right? Can't keep either in the top 10 after that.

They still won. And just b/c ODU and GSU are newbies, doesn't mean they aren't any good. CCU was in the playoffs in the 3rd or 4th year of their existence. They're both staying in my top 10.

IMO Richmond should not be ranked higher than Deleware...doesn't matter though, don't they play each other next week? I look for DE to put the beat down on UR.

NDSU has only allowed 1 touchdown all season and that TD my friend was given up to a team that some used to argue was the best FCS team in history. Now they have had the stuffing knocked out of them and lost the week after beating the BISON. They will have to dust themselves off and start again. Id hate to see UNI collapse after the BISON again, like last year.

So far NDSU has played a Big 12 contender, a perennial FCS power house and a good D1 team from "Back East". I dont care where they are ranked but 15 sounds about right.
