Weber upsets Sac 32-27 in Sac in a game that revealed issues for both teams. Weber can't protect a kicker (two blocked PATs and a blocked FG), but Sac has the bigger issue of possibly having to burn a redshirt at the QB position as backup Macleod Bethel-Thompson, the UCLA transfer, starting his second straight game, went down in the 4th quarter, bringing in youngster Duncan White, who led a TD drive to narrow gap to 5 before failing to see an extra Weber defender trying to escape the field on a 4th and inches at midfield on the decisive drive. While a sneak should have been called (hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20, LOL), an early snap would have resulted in a key first down and perhaps led to a win. I'm sure he'll catch that in filmwork this week and not have that issue again.
