If you're going to shake your head about Jacksonville, you've got to shake it about ODU. I can almost guarantee that anybody who has ODU in there has Jacksonville right above them. They're 3-1 with two blowouts, a win over ODU and a loss to the No. 2 (a blowout loss)

Yeah, Richmond is ridiculously high.
And I think Jacksonville got votes from someone trying to vote for Jax State.
And yes, ODU doesn't deserve votes either.
Shameful poll this is. It's terrible, something really needs to be done about it.

Gotta agree, I have no idea how we keep getting votes. I know Rich Radford does vote in this thing though, and he's voted for us a few times. I don't think we deserve ANY vote right now, but there's a realy possibility that we might enter this ranking for the first time ever if we win our next three (Gardner-Webb,
Cal Poly, Georgia State), especially if JU and W&M keep winning. We'd be 5-2 with a win over a ranked opponent...and there's a good possibility of this since they're all at home. So from the
if perspective, I can see how we're getting votes.

I would agree, but for the fact that according to this poll the Cal Poly game will be the only upset of the bunch. You guys are "ranked" higher than G-W and you should be favored against Ga. St.
Having said that, the way the season's playing out, 5-2 will probably get you in the Top 25.

4 different PL (Gtown, Lehigh, Fordham, and Colgate) teams getting votes, really? Fordham lost to Bryant and a D-II team!
4 Ivy teams get votes as well (Brown, Yale, Harvard, Dartmouth), why? Yale eeks out a win vs Gtown and Harvard beats HC to establish credibility?
4 'other' MEAC teams (not including #9 SCSU) get votes in the poll (Bethune-Cookman, Delaware State, FAMU, Hampton), is this a mistake? DSU is is 0-3!?!
However, just one NEC gets any votes! I wonder why ... ?
----
Liberty earns 223 total points from voters and Robert Morris has just 15 points - how can they be so far apart?
SIU (1-3) has just 1 win (vs sub D-I Quincy) and is ranked #24? Come on people!

What's wrong with having UNI in there? We have only played three games, and have a 2 point loss to a top 10 team, and an FBS team.
Who
else would you rank instead?

How about WIU? 3-1 with only an FBS loss to Purdue...
How about SEMO? 3-1 with only an FBS loss to Ball State....
How about Central Arkansas? 3-1 with only and FBS loss to Tulsa...
And that's just off the top of my head.

2009 - NAU goes 5-2 beating a bunch of patsies and ends up 5-6
2008 - NAU goes 6-1 beating a bunch of patsies and ends up 6-5
2007 - NAU goes 5-3 beating a bunch of patsies and ends up 6-5
2006 - NAU goes 2-2 beating a couple of patsies and ends up 6-5
2005 - NAU goes 2-1 beating a couple of patsies and ends up 3-8
How many times can the con man have you bet $1 only to have him lift the shell to show you that you've been duped.

UM is 2-2 with one D-I win. EWU is 2-2 with one D-I win. EWU beat UM head to head. Why is Montana that high? I think EWU is too high even. EWU at like 20 with UM at 21 would make much more sense.

Using your logic we should have ranked SUU a couple years ago when they went 0-11 with the toughest schedule in I-AA.
