I even as a Texas State fan, think that putting Texas State in the top 10 is a bit to high. But definitely the best poll out there right now.....

2. Villanova Wildcats
3. James Madison Dukes
4. Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens
5. Jacksonville State Gamecocks
6. Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks
7. Massachusetts Minutemen
8. William & Mary Tribe
9. Texas State Bobcats
10. Montana State Bobcats

Interesting. I know you guys had some TO's, but didn' t you also have three big plays for all your scoring? :|

The couldn't stop us...we stopped ourselves.

I would LOVE to see SFA again. Almost all of their yards came in the first half once we had a chance to get a full scheme change in to defend their pass plays.

We had about 3 yards per play more than them, and more yards with something like 25 less plays.

They passed for 356 yards on you. Sounds like you couldn't stop them. Your second half possessions were punt, punt, fumble, fumble, downs. :|

SFA is a tough team to prepare for, and it is hard to simulate that type of offense in practice in just one week. We struggled against them in the first half, but adjusted and really shut them down in the second half. I think they only had like 100 or less passing yards in the second half and zero points scored.

If we played them again, I would be much more confident.

Just think, if they'd have scored 3 more points in the second half, they'd be in my poll. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

What is up with all these UNI fans complaining about a game they lost? You think that SFA wouldn't feel more confident if we played the game all over? All of our point were in the first half? You do realize there are TWO halves right? Turns out if mistakes turn into a loss, its still a loss!
