I thought this was going to be a ranking of the drinks he downed this weekend. The Smitty would have the top 5 locked down I think.

Don't I know it. I put that on there so we would have a chance at the Grizo sighting again because I didn't think he'd show for the bus ride and my phone was dead from the night before and that's my alarm clock also and I didn't even stir until about noon and that's only because I pee'd the bed. I didn't have my phone charger at home so I went down to the office and plugged in and called Appa cuz I don't have your phone # and he said you were cruising around town somewhere and he was going back to bed for a while. I had hoped no one went at all and it would be swept under the rug but when I called later and found that you had went there I felt pretty sorry for myself.

I fully expected you to place NAU #1.

Perhaps because I ALWAYS have Sac at #1 when I'm not rational enough to put Montana up there.

Why on each?

Tennessee State has beaten 4 FCS teams - and most by good margins.

I guess the way I always try to look at it is would they beat the teams below them? And In Tennesee State's case, I think they lose to every single team below them in your rankings. SDSU, on the other hand, probably should be above UMass, Western Ill, Tennesee State, Jacksonville St, and NAU. NDSU should be #15 (in other words, I think they beat #'s 16, 17, 18 and 19 in a heads up match).
UNI----just because I don't like the MV conference. :D :D :D

Valid points, but we shall see. I am not tied to my previous week's rankings, so I can move them as I see fit

Those are the rankings I question. Most of those I highlighted are placements that I disagreed with that are also noticeably different from the TSN & AGS polls.

A few more questions:
  • Where's Eastern Illinois? You have Jacksonville State & TSU ranked, but not EIU (the OVC favorite).

    You don't have Villanova ranked?

No Ivy League teams? Yale & Harvard look fairly loaded.

First off - I could care less about the other polls - they are wrong!
Let the IVY League play a few games, then we will talk
JSU and TSU have looked better, IMHO than EIU. EIU was 26th in my poll.
Nova - they will get there chance.

Obviously, I disagree with your assessments. I try to look at all FCS, not just the popular teams that everyone jumps on. UMass is lucky to be ranked at all...

And I don't? I wasn't questioning your rankings because they aren't in line with the major polls. There are other placements you have that I question, too (like McNeese down at 7 and Georgia Southern in the rankings at all), but they happen to be in line with the consensus so my argument isn't just with you.

Let the IVY League play a few games, then we will talk
So teams should be punished for starting late? Those two were legitimate top-25 teams last year & didn't lose very many starters.

Not saying YOU don't look at all teams - but many, many pollsters don't.

IVY - I don't like them. They don't play anyone. I didn't think they were that good last year.

I hope you see why I ranked Jax State, not EIU :)

Villanova is the hot climber this week. The had beaten two not very good teams, so was waiting for the Richmond game to guide me on them. and they delivered.

Yale and Harvard were overrated :)

Bingo, although I think NAU's gonna climb...but I'd still say drop the Ivy's and UT-Martin from the watch list.

NAU will at least temporarily after their upcoming loss on 10/4.
