Howard @ Furman - FU looks to bounce back handily after loss to the Terriers
Chatty @ El Cid - Bulldogs still struggling with new offense
Elon @ ASU - history and home field = ASU win
Samford @ Western Carolina - don't know - which WCU team shows up?
Wofford @ GSU - should be a great one - I'm leaning toward GSU, but not enough to bold it.

Howard @ Furman - Furman takes out its frustrations against Howard.
Chatty @ El Cid - UTC appears to be on the upswing while Citdogs are still struggling.
Elon @ ASU - ASU is tough to beat at The Rock but this is almost a playoff elimination game for Elon. Riddle throws for a lot of yardage but the Fenix still fall to the Apps......again.
Samford @ Western Carolina - Maybe my first time in years picking the Cats to win a SoCo game but they actually appear to be improving. Sammy is underachieving and WCU has a little confidence. Cats in a squeaker at home.
Wofford @ GSU - Never thought at the beginning of the season that this game would carry so much weight in the SoCon and nationally. GSU playing at home having already played well against a good option team in Navy should win this game. Nothing the ankle-biters ever do surprises me so don't count them out but I can't see GSU losing this game at home.

Wofford @ GSU GSU has a good D and they held TO Navy to under 200 yards total offense and 13 points. Low scoring game, but a good one. GSU by 3
Also to App Fans, I'm really excited for Saturday. I get to make my first trip to the Rock.

Have a great time at the game. Hopefully you will witness a record crowd on a beautiful day at The Rock. MIght see Riddle throw the ball 50+ times in this one. I just hope he completes about 4 of them to the guys wearing the black jerseys!

2009 - 20-7 W vs Samford (rain game, coming off 0-2 start)
2008 - 35-32 L @ JMU (21-0 lead at half)
2007 - 38-35 L vs GSU (30-game home streak snapped)
2006 - 45-28 W vs CCU (1st round of playoffs)
2005 - 34-31 L @ Furman (got revenge in semis)
2004 - BYE in final week after 30-27 loss @ WCU

If he plays the way he has in every important game in his career, we will see 4 completions to guys in black jerseys. I just hope its a good game, and it stays relatively close.

Welcome! It ought to be fun at the Rock on Saturday. 30k+ of my closest friends are expected. And, talk about good weather, this may be the most perfect weather EVER at a football game in Boone. How is tailgating up at Greenwood this year? I know it has sucked since they implemented the lottery the past couple of years. Although I've only been up there in less than ideal weather.
