...or was Furman just overrated? I'm not exactly sure yet. I think our game at Georgia Southern will go a long way towards showing where Wofford now stands as far as being back as a SoCon contender.

I'm right there with you....at the moment I think we are good enough to win at least 6 games. If we win this weekend we will be good enough to contend for a playoff spot IMO

Good to see other teams using GSU as a barometer of where they stand again

Wofford isn't back. Furman is just farther away than they thought.

Looks to me like another year where SoCon teams just knock one another off and limit the playoff invites. This year even WCU looks to get in on the action. Only ASU, Wofford and GaSo have avoided the bug so far and it's really early in the season. Beating Furman was certainly a start for Wofford.

Did they go somewhere? Are we talking about the same Wofford that JMU - as a No. 1 seed - had a close game with at home in the 2008 playoffs? 2008!
That was the last time we made the playoffs. Is JMU back?
Now Western Carolina...THAT'S somebody that you can ask if they're back. I mean...if they were back.

apparently the BSC is using that model this year as well.
