I don't know at this rate...grizzaholic wrote:You of all people should know that Montana does not travel to SFA.....SFA travels to Montana.
I forgot about that. Was mostly going off of who I thought would draw/make bids.kuntryboimike wrote:I'd LOVE for RMU to come to LU for that first round so we can show how much of a fluke that game really was. RMU is not better than Liberty. Period.
It has been proven over and over. The Southland comes to Missoula to end their seasons. It is just written in stone. It is just the way things are. Dogs chase cats. I kill wolves. Ursus likes D-cups. Willie, WR, SH are kickers....and suck. It is just one of those things.FCS Update wrote:I don't know at this rate...grizzaholic wrote:You of all people should know that Montana does not travel to SFA.....SFA travels to Montana.
you really think that Montana has an argument for a seed? riiiiight.grizzaholic wrote:It has been proven over and over. The Southland comes to Missoula to end their seasons. Either way they could only play one game before they faced a seed.JayJ79 wrote:you really think that Montana has an argument for a seed? riiiiight.grizzaholic wrote:

Though given their attendance tendancies, I could see the committee making a point to place them in the bracket so that they don't have to face a seed until as late as possible (and thus could host an additional game).
No, he didn't. He ECB'd it.SloStang wrote:You forgot Cal poly.
MSU lost to a team that hasn't beat anyone of note yet and barely beat a DII. MSU doesn't get the benefit of a doubt that comes with being in the playoff X number of years running, going to be hard to get projected into the brackets in Week 5. Worry about it 4 weeks from now, presuming MSU keeps winning.MSUDuo wrote:Not even a mention in the at-large consideration category.
Still think people are over looking MSU but considering your preseason picks that doesn't surprise me.
Have one of the easiest schedules left with only @UNI really being the only non-winnable game probably. Have SIU, WIU, and NDSU at home and have SDSU and ISU(b) on the road. All winnable games and with what I have seen from each team so far, they should be.
MSU surprised a lot of people with a convincing win over YSU last week and will continue to do so!

*shrug* I actually hadn't looked really. ISU did beat MSU. YSU, though they haven't been since 2005 (yes?), have a strong tradition so people are more likely to assume they're the real thing early in a year. WIU beat a ranked team (and are ranked themselves) so they're getting love from this projection.MSUDuo wrote:siuham wrote:

So what holds one team down may not hold another team down? Makes sense.
Where is ISU(r)'s and YSU playoff X number of years running? Neither team has made the playoffs since 06 and both only once in the last 8 years. Yes, I realize that is one more than MSU but still, that shouldn't earn any benefit of the doubt either. If ISU(r) hasn't beaten anyone of note, then YSU hasn't either. Both are being mentioned above MSU for some reason in every poll and playoff prediction.
Like I mentioned in the section on the autobid, anyone in the top 6 could still win the valley.MSUDuo wrote:Not even a mention in the at-large consideration category.

RMU had (not many) more yard rushing, more yards passing, held onto the ball better, punted better, and there was no weather excuse. Liberty might be better, but in what way was the Colonial win a "fluke"?kuntryboimike wrote:I'd LOVE for RMU to come to LU for that first round so we can show how much of a fluke that game really was. Agree...not sure how you consider RMU's win over Liberty a fluke.UAalum72 wrote:RMU had (not many) more yard rushing, more yards passing, held onto the ball better, punted better, and there was no weather excuse.
