Care to make a small wager on the ISUred vs ISUblue game if you so think the Trees are winning it?MSUDuo wrote:After this weekend it will look something like this...
WIU 2-1
UNI 2-1
SIU 2-1
ISU(r) 2-2
MSU 1-1
ISU(b) 1-1
YSU 1-2
NDSU 1-2
SDSU 1-2
OK OK, enough. The Jacks may be 0-4, but has everyone forgotten the goddamn schedule we have had to play. Granted, it is a terribly dissappointing record for a team ranked #9 preseason, but to say the team is the cellar-dweller of the MVC is a bit retarded. Go ahead and count SDSU as an auto win, but don't be surprised if that gets shoved up your asses when the time comes, the Jacks aren't quite what their record makes them out to be. I'm sure some of the UNI fans would agree that I'm not off-base in saying that. The Jacks aren't what they were made out to be perhaps, but they for fuck sure ain't a goddamn pushover. Bank on that. I guarantee that any other team plays the schedule we played in the beginning would not have a super record either. @ UD, then ISUr, then @ #6 Nebraska, then @ UNI. The only break was ISUr, if that can be considered a break. Give it a week or two before the Jacks are considered the easy win doormat of the conference.ISUSycamores23 wrote:I can see Indiana State winning at least 2 MVFC games over Illinois State and SDSU.
Easy Thumper, easy. We go 1-0. That remains the goal each and every week. We need to take care of business this week.Thumper 76 wrote:OK OK, enough. So far you are 0-4 on your going 1-0 goals. I get taking it week by week, but at some point you have go change something.Theee Catrabbit wrote:Easy Thumper, easy. We go 1-0. Wow was I ever wrong, ill send you a hat from lids under $20 if you fancy...PM me if you want itMSUDuo wrote:If I cared about ISU(b) maybe. But I don't. Just thought it would be even more chaotic if the bottom 4 teams in the conference could knock off some of the top teams and make the entire Valley within a game or less of 1st place.

It could be worse. At least you are not a Redbird fan.pantherrob82 wrote:This conference baffles me.
Nothing makes sense.
How were we in a game on the road in which we had four turnovers? So frustrated.
Yeah...89Hen wrote:I give up trying to figure out this conference this year.
Technically you are 3-2.ISUSycamores23 wrote:You guys do realize that Indiana State is 3-2 overall, not 1-2.
IL State has been overrated and you heard that from me in July My failed prediction our out here also Redbirds have been here before over the years, recruiting well only to fall on their faces. Other than a weak football tradition I can't explain why they rarely put it together, but that has been their strongest tradition; underachievement. Not a IL State hater, just sharing 40 years of observation.ISUSycamores23 wrote:Indiana State defeated Illinois State 59-24.
How'd that work out for ya?guinzone wrote:I am also going out on a limb and saying SDSU and NDSU will be sitting pretty at 0-3 in the league.
Penguins open up as a 3pt favorite over NDSU.
