When Eric, the guy that now runs AGS called me for my birthday this summer, I told him if he wanted to get me a birthday present he could get rid of the BC, er i mean the cheap rip-off that is the GPI. It's like a Taliban fighter, riddled with so many holes in it, it's not worth it.

Then again, there is no outcry to have it so.....

It's not the GPI, but if you want a site that's a compendium of all the various computer ranking systems and two human polls, there's Massey. They use The Sports Network Poll, The Coaches Poll, and 36 different computer rankings:

Now I understand the CAA ahead of the BSC, but I'd like to know how the MVFC is ranked higher than the BSC, using their rankings.

BSC= 5/9 ranked, two teams ranked higher than MVFC highest
MVFC= 4/9 ranked

15. Pioneer Football League (71.838)

Now I understand the CAA ahead of the BSC, but I'd like to know how the MVFC is ranked higher than the BSC, using their rankings.

BSC= 5/9 ranked, two teams ranked higher than MVFC highest
MVFC= 4/9 ranked
MVFC - Outside the top 25
#28 - SDSU(strength of schedule)
#30 - MSU
#30 - YSU
#35 - ISU-Blue(THis is the biggest reason IMO)
#41 - ISU-Red

BSC - Outside the top 25
#26 - Portland State
#40 - Weber St.(usually much higher)
#61 - N. Colorado
#92- Idaho St.(where ISU-Blue usually has been lately)

My point of this is that the "bottom-half" of the MVFC is much more competive than the "bottom half" of the BSC. Hence the 2.51 percentage point higher/lower computer ranking, which is actually a lot.

Go Jacks!!
