SDSU up 21-3 on SIU late in the 3rd.

NDSU losing to ISUr

MSU and ISUb are tied

Could this conference be more confusing?

Outside of SDSU crushing SIU right now, what is surprising about today so far?

ISU Blue being competitive.

NDSU losing to ISU Red, who has been very streaky. NDSU was a candidate to step up and run for the autobid with all the confusion, and now they're going to give it away just as quickly.

They only way NDSU was set up to get the Auto bid is if UNI, SIU, and WIU all lost three times in conference

ISU competing with MSU isn't a shock to anyone in the conference that isn't a Misery State fan. They also have ONE D1 one, I wouldn't call them competitive.

Are we who we thought we were?

I think SDSU was victim in its first 4 games of a very young offensive line. Right now the 8 man rotation consists of 2 Sr, 2 Jr, 2 So and 3 RS Frosh. They are starting to look very good right now. I think my old, slow ass could gain 100 behind them by next year.

As I've said repeatedly, every week, UNI's victory over NDSU looks less and less impressive. :coffee:

Going off of the score? Yes.

If you look at the stats we laid on them, and the stuffing that we knocked out of them, then no.

NDSU MVFC autobid candidate = Lyndon LaRouche presidential candidate

NDSU was only an auto-bid candidate to NDSU fans and people outside the MVFC.

NDSU has been on the outside looking in for quite a some time now.

SDSU is proving they're better than their record, SIU is terrible right now.

Starting QB did not start because he decided to punch a bouncer at a bar last Saturday after the UNI game. Not that he played much better than our back-up. Play calling in the second half was atrocious. The best SIU play was the onside kick we recovered. It was perfection. SDSU owned that game after SIU's first drive ended.

Well, I am an outsider. I see a team capable of winning any game they've played this season in a conference where a lot of parity is happening. I don't even read NDSU fan threads because they're nonsense. I just saw a team that was capable of winning every game they had left. And they didn't. Maybe I was way off base, but since I don't let NDSU fans and their nonsense influence my opinion on NDSU, I thought I was giving them a good look.

And I have no doubt SDSU is better than their record.

I came off a little more snarky than I wanted to, I know you're a smart football fan :D Reading the drivel from NDSU fans every week gets tiring.

It's the one good thing about being a Big South fan. I have an outsiders perspective on pretty much every top 25 team in FCS, so I don't really have a bias. Except for my bias against App. Hate those guys. ;)

Typical attitude of someone telling the world they are to the left. Not a recommendation if you ask me so it discounts heavily whatever that person has to say. Knowledgeable football fan or not they dont seem too bright to me, rather a little full of them selves if you ask me.

I sir do not agree with what you say but I sir, will defend to the death your right to say it.

NDSU was never in a good position for the AQ but certainly they still control their own destiny. This conference is wide open. SIU could be out if they cant win the MVFC. Hear they lost a QB. So? NDSU is playing the back up too.

NDSU still has Indiana, SIU and SDSU. Thats a nice slate in this situation.

SIU didn't lose a QB. He got sat for disciplinary reasons because he punched a damn bouncer after the UNI win Saturday night. SIU is out unless they win the AQ from the conference, which can only happen if WIU/YSU/SDSU all end with 3 losses in conference.

I would agree. UNI has done nothing with the early advantage they gained in what was a razor thin margin of victory over NDSU to begin with. Obviously looking back it was probably a fluke win by the Panthers, that and the stuffing was knocked out of them! 8-)

Yeah... it isn't like UNI is in first place in the conference or anything...

I was talking about the slide after the NDSU game. Right now, its clear UNI has righted the ship from that afternoon and now are in the drivers seat for the auto bid. If NDSU gets the at-large, which we probably will, we have the largest stadium in the league and will probably get a lot of home games, dont you think?

*IF* you get in, yeah, I'm sure you'll put a better bid in than most teams could

However, for you to get a home game you will need at least 8 wins. I don't think you get there.

If you do, you get a home game.

Anywho...

ISU Blue takes out MSU in OT after being down 14 in the 4th quarter.

MSU missed a ~25 yard field goal after false starting on 4th and Inches to end the game.

This is nuts. AGS has had 5 new Tree posters this week. And I checked their IP addresses, they're all different people.

Time are a'changing.

Bull shit...same guy 5 different houses...LOL

Nah, ISUB is on the right path. If they can stay on that path, I don't know, but for now they are there.
