Yeah, tell me about it! Only three CAA teams in the top 10. I call BS.
Note to anyone who doesn't want to drop 20 spots in Sagarin: if you have the opportunity to punch in a garbage time touchdown from the Rhode Island 3 with a just under a minute left, go ahead and do it, because 31-17 looks way better than 24-17, sportsmanship be damned.

South Alabama as a top 20 team looks fine to you?
See, there's a good reason to support East Coast Bias.

Weberwildcat, it seems you sure like SUU for the BSC. I'm starting to feel the same.

SIU is the lowest MVFC team
Anyway....In my usual style, I got bored and did math.
His averages are nice and all on the USA Today website, but they use numbers that include all the FBS teams. If just FCS teams are averaged (using the central mean weighting)
Rating - Conference - CM Rating - Simple Avg. Rating Rank
1. Big Sky (66.3) (1)
2. Great West (68.8) (5)
3. CAA (73.7) (2)
4. MVFC (86.3) (3)
5. SoCon (93.9) (4)
6. Southland (120.6) (6)
7. IAA Independents (138.0) (8)
8. NEC (194.2) (9)
9. OVC (198.8) (7)
10. Patriot (202.9) (12)
11. Ivy (207.3) (10)
12. Big South (208.7) (13)
13. SWAC (252.2) (11)
14. MEAC (274.7) (15)
15. Pioneer (286.8) (14)

Not to fuck your little brain all up but if you are saying "future" BSC members...shouldn't Montana NOT be included? Aren't they supposed to be leaving?
Fucking mormons.

No, but he said current AND future, inclusive. So UM, despite being too high and mighty for the Big Fluffy, do belong on that list.

**** mormons.
Just a personal gripe, not saying he is right or wrong but power ratings like these have a self perpetuating fallacy. IF you are in a highly rated conference, then you play a highly rated schedule, therefore you will be highly rated. In the end it may all work out, but it get's a little lopsided during the season.
