wasn't proud of that loss but did not expect to see Cal Poly drop from #13 to out?

I guess it really depends on who you think is better when it comes to it. That said I wouldn't have leapfrogged you just based on what happened at Texas A&M, even if I did think they'd beat you.

The two things I find fault with with the TSN is, NAU is too low IMO, and the fact that Robert Morris isn't ranked.

The fixation is pretty silly, even if the sentiment has integrity.

Is this in reference to the CS poll, TSN poll, or GPI?

I don't think the FCS Now poll is out yet, but I don't think it will make you happy.

On the bright side, there are lots of polls, if you look hard enough, you can probably find one that will make you happy. If not, you can start your own.

Envious of a loss to an unranked Cal Poly, a win over a high school, the 2 worst teams in the Big Fluffy, and close wins over middle of the pack Big Fluffy teams.

Yup, UNI has a lot to be jealous about.

It's not the comment DJH. It's the incessant commenting and bitching about one team. I don't know if you are familiar with TT and Catmom and the way they can hone in on one team but that is where you find yourself. As I said the sentiment is probably correct.

I've honed in on the one team because it is the most obvious mistake in the polls, IMO. Montana is obviously getting votes on reputation this year, much more than any other team.

Just so happens that there are a million Griz posters here, so you all get pissy with me.

Which is exactly what I was getting at. I don't care that you think the way you do about it. I just like to put some back on ya when you take a swipe and point out that you have had an envious obsession with Montana from your first posts on here. You have been making these same kinds of statements for the last couple of years about who we've played and the lack of a good teams and yet we were still one of the two playing at the end of the year. You also have it in your head that the MVFC is a traditionally stronger conference in spite of the fact that the BSC normally ends up above the MVFC in conference rankings. So you can see why normally you can't be taken seriously.

This year you are as close to correct as you've ever been but since you've poisoned that well long ago it is still seen as crying. :thumb:

I do believe the MVFC is traditionally stronger than the BSC. And IMO, that is evidenced, by the complete lack of success in the playoffs by BSC conf teams not named montana. Montana is almost always really really good. And they have almost always proven themselves in the playoffs. BUT, they have often benefited from a mediocre conf schedule IMO. Montana has won, what, 15 conference titles in a row? It hardly matters how good Montana is, and they will still win the conf. Not exactly the picture of parity for the BSC.

And as I said, my opinions on this are not popular here because there are a ton of griz posters. :coffee:

But all that nothing to do with this year, as both conferences appear to suck.

Check the conference ratings at the end of the year in each of those years we've won it. I bet you'll be surprised to find that we won those BSC titles in years where the BSC was considered stronger than your conference. What say you to that? You can also look at how well our 2nd team in played the top team in your conference even when they do lose it was a nail biter. Then you can have our 2nd place team go to a highly seeded (#1) team and take them out at their own house. What say you to that?

If you want to stick with your line of thinking in spite of what has actually happened to prove it fairly unstable then I can't do much for ya.
