Wofford 45
Elon 21
Wofford's front 7 causes too much trouble for Riddle, and an improved secondary holds Elon to under 300 yards passing

I don't know about this one. With an extra week to prepare and nothing to lose Elon will more than likely make this a close game, especially at home as they can only play the role of spoiler from here on out. I like Elon in the upset.

I think it'll be close. I'm not saying Elon will pull out the win, but with 2 weeks to work on defending the TO, I don't think it will wreck us as much as GSU did. Our run defense scares me, we always have trouble against the TO, and this year, we've given up over 200 rushing yards per game. But, we have the home field, and it's homecoming week, so we'll have a big crowd (most likely quiet), for at least a few minutes in the second quarter. I'm not sure we'll be held under 300 yards passing, as our lowest total of the year was our first game, at Duke where we threw for 281. Our last 2 games we have thrown for 416, then 394 at The Rock.

My thoughts exactly except I think we win by two scores 35-21.

Final Score: Wofford 28, Elon 21
Wofford TD pass with 9 seconds left. It was an impossible circus catch. We were VERY fortunate to win this one after a HORRIBLE 2nd half that saw us blow a 21-0 lead. We almost threw this game in the trash can, but somehow found a way to win.

we played well defensively, however the offense did not do well. Hopefully we'll perfect our execution in the next couple weeks before we go to Boone

Wofford played well yesterday. Their offense wasn't as good as I expected. I thought they would run all over us like GSU did. Maybe chalk that up to Elon's idle week to get ready for the TO. We were simply outplayed all 1st half, and when Wofford took the 2nd half kickoff back, i thought it was over. We really got going in the 2nd half, and we probably should have won. Wofford caught the breaks and found a way to win, and i tip my cap to them. Good luck the rest of the year.
