Recommend a game for a BYE week fan

Post by Knucklehead »

With Liberty on a Bye week, make a case for what FCS game I should pay attention to. I'm just looking for a good FCS matchup for a great game. ANYONE? What 1 game can't I miss?

If you're interested in BSC games they can all be seen on the internet on BIG SKY TV. sorry, I don't have a link. The best game will probably NAU @ UM.

C'mon.

2 hours to the east of you - of course it's sold out, but you could stand outside and listen to the crowd a) roar when daHenz score, and b) golf clap when Bill and Mary gain a few yards...

Not sure where you are, but the WM-UD game is, IMO, the FCS game of the week. Should be a good one in Williamsburg. It's on TV and should be on channelsurfing.net.

That's the game I was planning on (UD/WM) Just wondered if anyone wanted to make a case for a different game. Hey I'm bored on the bye week.

Im going to a jr college game right here in town before the Big BISON game. Indiana State is rolling into town for a bit of a football tussle. Maybe there is a jr. college game close to you too?

for the NDSU game. They have been picking them up on channel surfing too.

I did a quick scan last night of what FCS games I get tomorrow for this same reason. I can watch the VMI/CSU game at noon. At 3:30 I can watch UNH/UMass and at 7 I can watch SBU/CCU. I was hoping to watch WM & Delaware but didn’t see it listed on the guide.

The WM-UD game is on Comcast (I think Mid-Atlantic) but a UD fan will know better. It's hit or miss with me in Tennessee as to whether it's actually going to be on or not, but those games are almost always on channelsurfing.

UNH/UMass one should be a cool one seeing as it's in Gillette and rumors of 25-30k.

I'm thinking about going to the Delaware - WM game. Does anyone have an extra ticket? Would I likely have any success finding a ticket outside the stadium?

The UD/W&M game should be epic.

On the other hand, if you like the sight of blood you could come down to Cullowhee. 8-)

That's interesting because there isn't a junior college team in Fargo. :?

You could head to the Georgia St./Old Dominion game in Norfolk. Granted it's not two Top 5 teams playing each other (quite the opposite really), but you'll enjoy a helluva gameday experience and see two of the newest teams in the FCS. Gotta find a ticket though 'cause it's soldout, but I'm sure if you look online you'll find something.

You have NAU @ Montana at 3:05 ET, free to view on bigskytv.org. Should be an interesting matchup, NAU cracks the top 25 after dismantling my poor Bobcats last weekend, and UM well is still UM, top 10 team.

I'd suggest mixing it up and catching a game in the west. NAU v Montana should be a good one, I also think that EWU Sac St. will be a nice game....EWU is fun to watch
