TEAM..........................CONF.........OVERALL
Liberty..........................2-0..............5-2
Stony Brook....................2-0..............3-4
Virginia Military Institute....2-2..............3-4
Gardner-Webb.................1-1..............3-4
Coastal Carolina ..............1-1..............2-5
Presbyterian...................1-2..............1-6
Charleston Southern..........0-3..............2-5

Liberty, SBU, and G-W are in "win and you're in" mode. If any of those teams win their remaining games, they'll receive the autobid. Liberty has SBU and G-W at home, meaning they have the edge in terms of homefield advantage against those two teams.

However, LU will have to travel to Coastal. A loss to Coastal would take the Flames out of a "win and you're in" scenario unless the Chants lose another game. Playing at CCU is usually a tough task. We'll see how the Flames can handle it.

LU's remaining schedule
---
@Presby
vs. G-W
@ CCU
vs. Stony Brook

I know the Big South isn't the best conference ever, but that's gonna be a heck of a month of football. Presby hadn't won since beating LU 2 years ago until this past weekend, so now coming off a win, how do they react when they take on LU almost two years to the day after they pulled the upset on the Flames on the same field the game will be played on? Follow that up with LU having to play it's 3 toughest opponents in Big South play for a chance at the playoffs, and it'll be a chance for LU to prove if it's really ready to step up to national competition.

The NEC race looks pretty good too with CCSU and RMU on a crash course. The two newest conferences to the AQ are gonna have a good battle for their playoff qualifiers, and that makes for good football. :thumb:

Lefty,

After watching PC play last weekend, I am convinced that they will win another football game this year [at least, I hope they do]. They came to play at GW and I suspect they may have turned the corner. I'm looking forward to my first trip to LU net weekend. Hopefully GW will pick themselves up and give Coastal Carolina a game this coming weekend.

Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

We’ll see what happens. It will definitely be an interesting and hopefully fun month. Liberty is clearly the favorite. If they play their game they will win the rest of the games. But as we’ve seen in the past LU doesn’t always play their game. I’m leery of the CCU game as well. I’m hoping GW beats CCU this Saturday to knock CCU out of the race. I don’t see LU losing at home.

Unless CCU loses another game? It's more like "when CCU plays another 1/2 game, loses and the coach says nothing" happens. Is it hoops and baseball season yet?

Wake me up when the Super Regionals for baseball start.

At least we're nationally-known for something. ;)
