Interesting that Chattanooga has close, fourth quarter losses to the top two teams in the poll and wins against Georgia Southern and Furman, but still is only ranked 20th. It takes a while to build respect.

Not sure why Nova jumped Delaware, but that won't matter after we beat them.

I doubt that is the coach's poll. They have simply updated the records. It looks like lst week's poll.

How the hell do Elon and Chattanooga have the same votes?!

Elon is 2-5
Chattanooga is 5-2 with only losses to the #1 and #2 teams in the country.

If play by both at Zable is any indicator, you certainly will.

Chatty way too low, Richmond way too high, JMU and UMass a little too high. Other than that, looks alright.

Which teams do you purport Richmond should be lower than ... and why?

Hey PHCE, the Towson radio guys were talking about how the stadium emptied at halftime this saturday. Any truth to this?

The student section pretty well emptied out at halftime, but that is fairly usual, even for competitive games.

How about Chattanooga? 5-2, only losses coming to #1 and #2

I could see that. He said "way too high", so I'm expecting a bunch of other names.

Chattanooga - Better record, combined 7 point difference in losses to current #1 and #2.
JMU - Same record, better wins; then #13 FBS VT and Liberty.
Liberty - Better record, FBS win.
Cal Poly - Better record, better wins (#7 Montana, McNeese State on the road)
UMass - Yes, I know UR has the head to head, but it was a 1-point win at the last second, UMass has the better resume (win over #3).
NAU - Same record, better wins (#13 MSU, SUU)

Like I said, I can see Chattanooga.

We play JMU next week, so it really doesn't matter, we're one spot higher. We've won 2 straight, they've lost 2 straight.

Liberty - if you're going to use the wins argument for the other teams, who have they beat? Are you really ready to roll out the Ball State argument?

Cal Poly - I could see an argument here.

Umass - we beat them and they have the same record as us. Most recently they got shellacked. Recency has to be worth something in these polls, no?

NAU - is Western New Mexico a Division 1 school? If not, they don't have the same record as Richmond.
