YSU is pretty damn good. Wish their fan base would stop jumping off the ship every season we play out there. The crowd wasn't as bad as 08, but still dissapointing.

The reason it sucked was because we had lost four in a row going into the game. As you can tell, we are not faraway from being a force in the league again. We obviously have no defense and our youth, inexperience, and lack of depth are killing us on that side of the ball, however our offense can compete with everyone as you witnessed today.

Make it THREE losses in the final 2 minutes of the game this year:
-NDSU 34-29 with 40 seconds left.
-WIU 40-38 with 60 seconds left.
-UNI 34-30 with 120 seconds left.

And in our five league losses, they are by a combined 30 points, or 6 points per game.
Watch out next year... that is, if we can recruit a defense.

The MVFC may be just as crazy next year. Every team in the conference is young. WIU is the only team that has a lot of seniors. It would help the conference if some teams could actually win some non-conference games next year.

I got the SDSU game right about 3 weeks ago.

Missouri State has 16 Seniors in its 2 deep depth chart. But, we also have 14 underclassmen in the 2 deep as well. We have a lot of talent to replace next year. But this season didn't exactly turn out like we thought it would. So really, what point of this post? Who knows, just like you said about the Valley next year.

Hope you enjoyed it. The Ice Castle was rocking in September when we were winning. Hope you can make it out here earlier in 2011-2012. By then, I think we will have ourselves a contender. We are CLOSE, just need some heavy defensive recruiting because we lack experience and depth on that side of the ball.
