A travesty!

So the NEC is rated as tougher conference than the MEAC, Big South, Ivy, and PFL yet all these conferences have a ranked team based on what - in-conference games?

The NEC has won 12 D-I games out of conference and has an 7-1 team that has a win over the #14 team in the poll, but they aren't ranked.

Our worst team, Saint Francis, flew across the country to play 3 close quarters against what I consider a bubble playoff team. How can anyone from TSN print thgis crappy poll.

The #14 is ranked 116 (out of 117) in strength of schedule, and their past opposition is 15-36 to date.

And btw, the NEC is 9-12 OoC against FCS (unless you wish to question the NCAA).

There's a much better argument for RMU being top 15 and LU being just outside then there is for the other way around.

This is a joke. At least AGS has them in there. And I am sure CS.com will, too.

TSN dropped the Tribe one spot behind Nova because the Tribe lost a close FBS game to UNC, where UNC had to rally from behind by 10 pts in the 2nd half. Will TSN drop ASU if ASU loses to UF at the end of the season???

Assuming J'ville State wins out, they could be the #1 seed going into the playoffs.

I think the selection committee is smarter than that. They would have beaten one ranked I-AA all year.

FWIW, you could make a case that JMU has a better resume than Jacksonville State...

VT > Ole Miss
Liberty > Chatty

Other than that, JMU has lost to #4, #5, #8 and #15. I'd love to see what JSU could do with that schedule.
