'tis Illinois State's last conference game of the season. (they play EIU the next week and then are idle on 11/20, and for the next 8 months or so)

ISUR - YSU doesn't have enough defense to stop ISUr's offense
SDSU - only because they are at home
UNI - ISUb hasn't played a team as complete as UNI
NDSU - only because it's at NDSU (even though they suck at home in conference play) and SIU sucks something hard the last couple weeks.

wouldn't it be crazy if the league ended up with UNI at the top, YSU at the bottom, and everyone else sitting at 4-4?

of course, it would suck in that the conference would only get their AQ into the playoffs (although I suppose in that situation, NDSU would be at 7-4 overall, so they could qualify for an at-large).

Seriously though, NDSU SUCKS at home against conference foes. If you don't believe me check the record since joining the MVFC...or just check my thread in the Smack forum and update the record since then.


Seriously though, I love bisonville. I talk a lot of shit about it, but it is by far the best board of all of the MVFC teams. A whole lot of delusions of grandeur based on the "good old D2 days", and beating up on piss poor GWC but still fun over there none-the-less.

Bisonville is pretty hilarious, they have some of the funniest smack threads. Oh and anything that CAbison and gabe post, pure comedy.

Indiana State defeats UNI 28-27 in a thriller, down to the last possession.

Be fair, he wrote that at 10 am.

ISU tried to give the game away. Was in control most of the game and was doing some decent things on defense. Then went to the good ol' cover two that made our defense 123/124 in FCS. Took a miracle (or 2 consecutive) to pull it out.
