Eags are COOKED if they don't win. Montana could lose this one and still end up 10-2 with a first round home game. Possibly even in with a 9-3 record, depending on what other teams in and out of the BSC do....

Once again, I have little sympathy for teams like EWU and NAU, basically scheduling themselves out of the playoffs every year by requiring them to run the table on FCS games to get in....

That is one advantage the fan base gives Montana - no need for FBS games. And yes, gives us little margin for error.


I do wish that the committee would recognize that a win over a 24-36 schollie D-II team is tougher than a win over Iona...

Home field & desperation seem to favor the Eagles, but the fact that EWU can't stop the pass to save their lives makes me still think the Griz will win.

i think that our offense is just about as good as theirs and that our defense is a little better than theirs so this looks to be a wild one. I'm hoping the Griz gel all around and we pull off a healthy victory but this one will probably be another nail biter. I'll go with some wishful thinking and call the Griz in an OT game 44-41.

Was there "weather" issues at this game? Or did the Griz D just decide to "show up"?

From the look of the broadcast the only problem seemed to be the wind. At times the announcers stated that it was blowing 25 and other times they said it was relatively calm.


Big up's to the Griz D yesterday. They really showed up. But then again they might have been all rested up before each EWU drive because the Griz O held the ball for long possessions most of the time.

(beef) what kind of mess is that?! ur supposed to be going for the eagles man! and since ur a smart-ass think about this, weber state was 0-11 a couple years ago and portland state has always been 4th in the big sky behind eastern montana & montana state. but honeslty, im pissed that the eagles lost. & you better thank ur lucky stars they aint going to the playoffs this year. by the way, last year who went farther in the playoff? u silly bastard!

I didn't know the little boys that run out on the field and get the tee after kick-offs also got rings at Eastern; congrats BlackFalker. I know you weren't a player becasue reading your writing leads me to believe you have only a fourth grade education at most. I like my hardware as well; mine says National Champions on it, but I bet it's really neat to get a ring that says CO-Conference Champions.
