Will NDSU be out of the playoffs already?

I would say yes. They will either put up a good fight until the 4th quarter where UNI takes total control of the game or NDSU won't be able to get going and turn the ball over a few times and get blown out.

I would like them to be out this early due to the overwhelming number of dickheads that are fans of NDSU but I would feel bad for the team itself and the good guys that post from NDSU so I don't now what I wish to happen. I think NDSU will lose this one but wouldn't be surprised to see them show up and have a solid win either.Win or lose though they still have an overwhelming victory in the FCS teams elimination thread.

You know UNI will come out breathing fire after last week. NDSU win would put SIU further in the driver's seat but I'll be surprised if they pull it off. UNI 26-17

I think there are two things working against NDSU:
1) This team isn't as strong as the teams from the last couple of years. (Too bad in a way, I think those teams were legit contenders.)
2) The bullseye on your back gets a lot bigger when you are a conference opponent, as opposed to an independent. Teams that might have overlooked them in the past, are now bringing their "A" game.
Delaware had a similiar experience when they transitioned from an independent to the Yankee Conference. As an independent UD owned the Yankee conference (I think UD had a 20 game win streak against Yankee Conf. teams at one point
), once they joined the conference the games got a lot tougher.

BH as per usual I agree with all that falls out of your fingertips. When MT has some close games in conference or loses though the hatchet comes down hard from the NDSU folks telling us how bad they are. You couldn't convince one of them that it was different once conference rolled around and people play harder because you are fighting to be the top dog in your yard and then be eligible to represent on the national scene come playoff time. I have a small sense of schadenfreude due to some of the NDSU guys and the way they are now finding out for themselves.

This is a critical game in the Valley. The Bison need it to stay in contention. Then again, so do the Panthers. There is such a logjam at the top of the standings, this could help sort it out (or make it worse).

If the Panthers play well we should win by at least 10. Pat Grace looked a lot better last week than he did against SIU. As long as we don't have the turnover problems like we did against SIU we should be ok.

You'd better win by at least 10. I've got a hat ridin' on it.
