Has that ever happened before?

They are losing by 38 points. I do not think they will be number 1. They might be able to hold on to a top 2 seed, but I don't see them moving up after a loss this big.freebird wrote:Has that ever happened before?
Gotta take care of ISU first, then................a big maybe.BlackFalkin wrote:NOPE! WE ALL KNOW THAT EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IS THE NEW #1 ! Fair is Fair is Fair.
EWU might also need a Montana St loss.EWURanger wrote:Gotta take care of ISU first, then................a big maybe.BlackFalkin wrote:NOPE! WE ALL KNOW THAT EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IS THE NEW #1 ! Fair is Fair is Fair.
Agreed.Skjellyfetti wrote:No argument from me. I'm happy with 2 seed.
Why? I don't see MSU passing us up if both teams win.BlueHen86 wrote:EWU might also need a Montana St loss.EWURanger wrote:

They beat y'all head to head and would be the autobid team from Big Sky, right?EWURanger wrote:Why? I don't see MSU passing us up if both teams win.BlueHen86 wrote:

The seeding committee doesn't have to use the rankings. If MSU wins they get the Big Sky auto bid. With both MSU and EWU finishing at 9-2 there's a good chance that MSU will get a higher seed than EWU.EWURanger wrote:Why? I don't see MSU passing us up if both teams win.BlueHen86 wrote:

It's wide open. UD and ASU could both lose today and still be the top 2 seeds.93henfan wrote:If App, then why not Delaware too? We were far more impressive in our loss, if such a thing exists.
So 86, do you think the committee gives us the winner of Lehigh/Nova in round 2? Is that allowable under current rules? I want another crack at Nova soonest.BlueHen86 wrote:It's wide open. My guess is no. But I'd love to see a final four of UD, W&M, Nova and ASU.93henfan wrote:So 86, do you think the committee gives us the winner of Lehigh/Nova in round 2? Is that allowable under current rules? I want another crack at Nova soonest.BlueHen86 wrote:

Why would that be so lame?Skjellyfetti wrote:And they could be really lame and give it to Jax State since they only have 1 loss and have a win over Ole Miss.
Because they have the worst loss of any of the teams in the discussion.dbackjon wrote:Why would that be so lame?Skjellyfetti wrote:And they could be really lame and give it to Jax State since they only have 1 loss and have a win over Ole Miss.
Yeah, but they were routed.Pwns wrote:It's Florida....it's the SEC...
So what? UF also routed South Florida and Miami OH.93henfan wrote:Yeah, but they were routed.Pwns wrote:It's Florida....it's the SEC...
Not allowed. Rules state conference teams are not allowed to play each other in the round of 16.93henfan wrote:So 86, do you think the committee gives us the winner of Lehigh/Nova in round 2? Is that allowable under current rules? I want another crack at Nova soonest.BlueHen86 wrote:

Happens pretty much everytime...Pwns wrote:So what? UF also routed South Florida and Miami OH.93henfan wrote:

And when has a team ever dropped for losing to an FBS, anyways?
They can if one of the teams has already played a game in the 1st round. Remember, the round of 16 is the 2nd round.jd of de wrote:Not allowed. Rules state conference teams are not allowed to play each other in the round of 16.93henfan wrote:
