I know I'm smacking my own team, but seriously, what was up with the uniforms today? They made no sense whatsoever.

I'm not sure, but I think Montana State just defeated the 1942 Chicago Bears.

I agree. They looked stupid.

The helmets, however, were one the most badass helmets I've ever fucking seen.

They were obviously to slippery. They looked like a mix with oregon state and texas...But they played like Idaho State in them.

Yeah. Nike's uniforms are often ugly because they're too complicated, not because they're too simple.


It looked like the Griz were wearing obscure NFL Thanksgiving throwbacks from the days of Otto Graham & Bobby Layne. I bet Sammy Baugh could've run in the endzone without fumbling, though. Sure, he's dead, but corpses have a tough grip.

Yeah, I'm sure NIKE, the largest athletic supplier in the world, was just desperate to get that valuable exposure (what, did like 2K people watch that game on TV? Was it even on TV?...) that they would get from an FCS football program that they just give them all their stuff for free.

Liberty went with Black Uni's today, too. White helmets with a smaller logo on them, as well. Looked really nice.

I like the Griz rendition, as well. I dunno, I'm a sucker for a lot of Nike stuff. Oregon in particular. I really like VT's Pro Combat stuff. And most of LU's football combos look pretty good. We have like 9 possible combos I think.

Game wasn't in CF so we didn't control the rights to the game.

Ok FUCKOS...care to still argue with me?

Here's some background into the UM - Nike connection and some are former athletes. I bet there are many Universities that would love to have our connections. The Griz have been involved in testing some equipment and in return have been the recipients of some awesome deals and tests on equipment/apparel. If Phil Knight is willing to make us the Oregon of the FCS then let's go for it. Uniforms don't make the players but it sure provides free media exposure.
