How exactly is UD the #1 seed with a loss today?

Exactly. And how the fuck can something like this be finalized when there are still games going on?

To be fair.

The only one that really mattered is JSU/TTU, and it was 24-7. Now TTU is up 28-24 and have a 3rd and Goal

Edit: TTU scored. 35-24 with 1:48 left in the 4th. WOWWWWW

How is Liberty IN last week, but OUT this week following a blowout win?!?

If you argued BEFORE for Liberty to be out, that makes a lot more sense than having them in and then booting them after a huge win. Especially with a 6-5 team taking their spot....

NoBowls has been pretty good all year, but he's lost his mind with this. No way does UD get the top seed. They have no wins over playoff teams, while W&M gets the CAA AQ and has beaten all three CAA teams likely to make the field.

I just have one plea for the selection committee. Yes, I am whining and crying but I do not care. Please, PLEASE don't put us in any bracket where we would potentially have to go back to Boone, NC! I'd rather go to EWU or Montana State than there...we just lose all ability to play ball in that town!

I still don't fully believe that Coastal Carolina is in the field.

I don't think that UD will get the #1 seed, but...

the committee has to look at the whole body of work, unlike pollsters who tend to give more weight to games as the season progresses. Every top team has at least 2 losses and UD is 8-2 and plays in arguably the top FCS conference, so they are going to be in the discussion.

And UD's 11th game was against a Div II while those other 5 teams 11th game was to a I-A.

There's 5 teams from from the power conferences that have ONE I-AA loss (ASU, Wofford, Montana St, EWU, and SFA). UD has TWO, as does W&M, who won the head to head.

UD will be a seed, but not a snowball's chance in hell they will be #1. I'd be surprised if they were top 3.

And, if Coastal faces Jacksonville from the Pioneer as The Sports Network projects, someone will pick up an easy second round win.
