Wow. Not really sure how I feel about this one. Nice to be recognized - don't know if we're really the #1 team in the nation right now. Then again, not sure who else can really make the claim, either, so............. :thumb:

OK playoff committee, out of that top 5, which two have the best home attendance? That might help with your seedings.

That's pretty much how it went down, as it needs to. You have to pay for this thing.

I think the exception would be SFA getting punked for MSU.

SFA/'Nova is a tough second round draw for both schools.

FYI, in my poll entry this week, Montana dropped to 20 and Sac dropped out.

Prime example of why the the bottom halves of the polls are complete garbage. About 8 teams in the bottom half, starting with SCSU, haven't beaten anyone worth a damn, have lost to any decent team they played, and some crappy ones to boot, and would finish with losing records in the CAA.

Prime example of the crazy elitism involved with CAA folk. One can't know that for sure until such game is actually played.

Just ask Michigan.

What can you say?

SCSU in the top 15 - yeah that is credible!

Anybody have a good reason why the Robert Morris is the ONLY conference champion NOT in the top 25? Every other conference co-champion is respresented, except the NEC.

PFL co-champs Dayton and Jacksonville are in.
Big South co-champ Liberty is in.
Ivy Champ Penn is in.
MEAC co-Champs BCU and SCSU are in.
PL champ Lehigh is in.
SWAC Champ Grambling is in.

The NEC is rated above all these conference, yet the co-champs RMU and CCSU aren't ranked.

Montana State and Stephen F. Austin both have pretty good attendance.

SFA did not get punked.

Or Virginia Tech. Which, by the way, a 6-5 team that didn't crack this Top 25 did, along with beating a Top 5 team in this poll two weeks ago. Oh, we also beat number 17. We had a losing record in the CAA.

None of this matters now that the playoffs have started, but if you seriously think that JMU isn't a top 25 team with their wins, you're nucking futs.
