It appears that WIU got in over SC State (figuring that a matchup would lead to playing App in round 2), unless we get SCSU/Wofford.

There are teams that belong in ahead of LU.

SCSU isn't one of them.

This is a joke. Total, absolute joke.

Some of this seems off to me not only does NDSU get in .... They get a home game?

Actually I have seen both teams play a lot this year and I would go with SC State. They have a much better defense and we all know defense wins championships. If they had Mike Brown and Chris Summers on their team they would have been the MEAC AQ and likely a top 6 team. Their defense will keep them in the game with GSU. I have no beef with SCSU getting in. I have them ranked ahead of Liberty. Remember, Liberty has a loss to JMU who went 6-5 in CAA and did not get in either.

DEFENSE IS NOT A CRITERIA.

Whatever, no one can convince me on this one. There are teams that belong in ahead of us. Not SCSU. No one can convince me.

Once you are in, money talks for the first round home games.

home games are determined by bids (i.e. $$$$$), not by record. (other than teams that earn a top-5 seed)

SC State? The worst conference in all of Division 1 got two teams in? And here I am bitching about the BCS. :ohno:

Oh well...that's my only qualm. The rest seems fine.

I don't think there's any question what the game of the week for the opening round is.

Seriously, put in JMU or Montana. They did more to earn it.

SCSU doesn't deserve it at all. LU was robbed. This is a joke.

SC St is 9-2
Liberty is 8-3

SC St has played well in the playoffs recently. That may have factored into which conference (MEAC or Big South) was more deserving of a second bid this year.

Big Sky got shafted with the seeding, and forced a rematch in the quarters, ensuring only one can reach the semis. Shocking.

I expected that NDSU would get in and get a home game (unless their first round game was Montana, which it isn't).

SC St. is EIGHT and TWO. Not an all DI schedule.

They had no wins worth ANYTHING and the loss to B-CU is bad in the computers, but apparently the committee was infatuated with the worst conference in football, since B-CU got a bye.

I guess the money the MEAC brings trumps resume. Just put Montana in in that case.

And if recent history played into it, then I'm done with this stupid system.

If NDSU or RMU doesn't pull a Northern Arizona on Montana St. :o

Based on a Montanaless Big Sky playoff field.. I'd be a lot more concerned winning a game than reaching the semis... ;)
