Of course, you do need to beat Lehigh first.

The Panthers shouldn't think about Delaware at all this week, if they do it will be Lehigh making the trip to Newark in two weeks.
I'm not sure who I want the Hens to play. UNI is likely the better team, but historically Lehigh has given the Hens more trouble.93henfan wrote:God DAMN it, be QUIET 86.BlueHen86 wrote:I think UNI will beat Lehigh, but not if they look past them.

The game was delayed 30 minutes in order to prepare the field after a snowstorm dropped over eight inches of snow on the Newark area Friday and Saturday. The area had near blizzard conditions in the morning before stopping an hour before the game. Large piles of snow surrounded the field and the game was played in 30 degree temperatures with 26 mile per hour wind gusts.
The Delaware football team was unable to get out of Iowa Sunday because of the icy weather there and because the de-icing equipment at the airport in Waterloo, near Cedar Falls, where the Blue Hens beat Northern Iowa 39-27 Saturday, wasn’t adequate for a charter plane of the size they had. Efforts to make arrangements to have another charter flight come and get them in Des Moines, two hours away, couldn’t be worked out. The plan is now to fly out of Des Moines Monday morning on a charter to New Castle County Airport and for the players and coaches to be back on campus soon after noon. The good thing is, they never had to leave the hotel where they’d been all weekend.
“It’s not ideal, but we’ll be fine,” coach K.C. Keeler told me over the phone. As a result of the delays, which affect pre-game preparation, Delaware asked the NCAA to consider switching the two semifinal game times, which it did. Delaware at Southern Illinois is now Saturday at 4 p.m. (ESPN). Richmond at Appalachian State is now Friday at 8 p.m. (ESPN2). It had been the other way around.
From the looks of him on the sideline he could have gone back in, and looked like he wanted too but the coaches said no.DJH wrote:We may lose next weekend. We totally gave up on Saturday, and Tirrell Rennie, our QB, was injured.
no, there is zero chance that he plays. Lehigh (and Delaware) shouldn't bother gameplanning their defenses to account for him at all.clenz wrote:From the looks of him on the sideline he could have gone back in, and looked like he wanted too but the coaches said no.DJH wrote:We may lose next weekend. He was sprinting back and forth on the sidelines, throwing, etc...
We didn't "pack it in" last week, but we definitely didn't "play to win the game" to quote Herm Edwards
well then, someone should update the stadium directory.bluehenbillk wrote:The Tub just put in field turf this year.
Sandbagging Bastard!!JayJ79 wrote:...but hearing that makes me upgrade UNI's chances against Delaware from "no chance at all" to "slight".
WRONG.Northern Iowa, making its 15th NCAA FCS Tournament appearance and its sixth since 2001, earned an at-large berth into this year’s tournament after winning five of its final six games.
Try SFA. SIU would only show you that we know how to blow games.State Line Liquors wrote:We called up Southern Illinois to ask for game tape on UNI and they stonewalled us. What's with these MVFC teams and their game tape c0ck blocking? And can we please find someone to ask them nicely?
