I'm with Catman. Whatever you're successful with at halftime, GSU coaching has the ability to adapt. We (ASU) have seen SCSU for the last two years and they aren't to be underestimated, but my money is on the Eagles.

I would give State the advantage in the OL category and GSU the advantage in the backs category.
The GSU OL/SCSU DL matchup will determine the outcome of the game. If the GSU OL can keep plays from being broken up in the backfield then we will win.

Been a SC State fan for the last couple of years. Their fans, band, and team really won me over. I finally get a chance to cheer for them in a playoff game...
It will be a close, defensive struggle... and will be decided by a play or two. I don't know who will make them. But, I can't wait to watch.

GSU has shown a penchant for sloppy play early in games all year, often falling behind by multiple scores before playing dominant second halves to either win (App, Furman, Elon) or barely lose (Navy, Wofford, Samford). They have also been a very good team when Jaybo Shaw is reasonably healthy.
With all that being said the team that wins this game will likely win the turnover stat, but don't underestimate the moxey of GSU- especially at home.

GSU methodically runs it down the field for a TD.
GSU 7
SCSU 0
SC State had no answer for GSU. Safeties making a good amount of tackles.

can I get a link to the GSU radio network? I'd rather listen to them than these Jokers.
Safety GSU...weird play

Really weird game so far. Georgia Southern fumbles the kickoff following the SC State safety on kickoff return....

Shaw nailed after pitch. Looks like he's hurt pretty badly. Georgia Southern didn't look good in games without Jaybo

Incredible play by Brent Russell... knocked the ball out of QB's hand before he could hand if off.... lol
I don't think SC State has the offense to come back.

WOW! What a nice defensive play.
GSU in the backfield to interrupt the handoff, causes fumble and runs it in for a TD.
GSU 16
SC State 0
