Would it be fair to say...

The CAA just walked quietly into a crowded room, dropped its pants and asked, "Questions, anyone?"

Congrats to Villanova.

Should pretty much answer the question over whether the CAA is still dominant. Apparently, they're even more dominant than ever.

Without Nova the CAA is 2-1 against teams not in the CAA. :twocents:

Wait, so the #3 SoCon team whips the CAA autobid, the #3 CAA team whips the SoCon autobid... and the CAA is as dominant as every? lolwut?

Without nova and Delaware the CAA is 1-1 against everyone else. What's your point? After next week we'll be talking about the nova/UD title game and whether UD can get the monkey/wildcat off their back or not in Frisco.

You can hang your hat on that for another 6 days - and then when the all-CAA final becomes a reality, that argument will just fade away. Chin up, though, the SoCon is clearly the 2nd best conference out there - no argument about that.

Called a pattern skyfest. Look at CAA's record in playoffs since it formed in 2006.

UNH would have beaten both of the teams in the last quarterfinal tonight, as would William and Mary. If they put UNH in that western bracket they make the semis too. Committee seems to enjoy screwing UNH. WM found itself against a team that played perfectly into its weakest link without having to change a thing. That had not happened all year, including against Delaware and Villanova. GSU is currently destroying Wofford and proving they are the best team in the So Con. Seeing as they did beat Ap State.

And if Georgia Southern knocks off Delaware and the SoCon is 2-1 vs. the CAA? What then? The SoCon walks into the room and drops its pants or something?

 Yes, Georgia Southern and Villanova can then give one another a tug-job in Frisco.

Luckily, we won't have to worry about that. If GSU is dropping their pants, it will be for a butt whippin.

I think it'd be fair to say once they actually get to the National Championship game. There's gonna be two teams trying to say something about that next week.

UNH did not impress last night. Frankly, other then defense, Delaware did not look dominating. All that I am taking away from this is that Villanova looks to be the toughtest team that I have seen in the playoffs. We shall see.

Correct sir, but also they are the only team from the CAA to beat a team from one of the big auto-bid conferences. So I'd hold off on the dominance thing yet. True UD is deep, but they had to play Lehigh and then a CAA team, so thats not going and stomping the teams that would challenge for the top conference or put up a fight for it anyways. So basically you are basing your whole argument on Nova, which would be at the moment like the SoCon using App as their argument in the years before as to why they are the best conference in the land even though it was most likely the CAA.

How many points did Delaware and UNH score on teams that weren't in the CAA last weekend?

Not our fault that Lehigh went into the MVFC champions home and made the trip to Newark instead of the Panthers. Do you really think UNI would have beaten UD last night?

NDSU/EWU winner will be lucky to stay within 28 of Nova.

No, GSU just says "Look at the rings boys," and "We're only starting two seniors and have only 3 seniors on the entire two deep on both sides of the ball so get used to it- again."
