As much as I want to make a prediction, I'll leave this one alone.

I predict each team has a 50/50 chance of winning and the team that scores the most points will, ultimately, be the winner.

That's the best I can do. I suck at predictions.

The cocky Hens will come out scoring and jump to a nice lead.
The Screamers will slowly make a comeback and will end up winning the game 31 to 27.

The headline next day will be Hens Plucked

21-17 EWU. I went with a low scoring affair given the long layoff and the rust these teams will have to shake off.

Delaware - 41
Eastern Washington - 24

This seems to be the best thread for this…

Eastern Washington shocked many (including me) with their Taiwan-less win over Villanova in the semis while Delaware shocked no-one by beating Georgia Southern the next day. EWU won their first three playoff games thanks to their favorable matchups against running teams. Unfortunately for the Eags, they have to face an NFL-caliber quarterback in Pat Devlin in the title game. To be fair, Delaware does run the ball quite a bit, but they have lot more balance than SEMO, NDSU, or Nova and they can better take advantage of EWU's suspect secondary. Delaware should win, but their anemic pass rush could do them in if inconsistent Eagle QB Bo Levi Mitchell catches fire like he did against the Wildcats. Don't be surprised to see a kick return TD in this game because both teams suck at kickoff coverage.
