FCS is decidedly the "no respect" division. More people get into the DII and DIII championship than ours.

I quit. Buying University of Minnesota season tickets this spring. I know I'll have more fun.

Yeah, the divisions that have the same two teams in the title game every year.

I saw that. They didn't have one link on the NCAA FB page. At least during the playoffs they have a link to the results for the different divisions.

What cracks me up is when they go to half time, whether is FCS, D2, or D3, they don't even talk about the game. They talk about everything else in the sports world, then its like oh ya we have a game to get back to.

BTW, who won the Cotton Bowl? I think LSU and a Texas team was in it.

This is how the drive by media operates. They push their agenda and it isnt to "sell papers", its to sell ideas and perceptions. Obviously their idea about the FCS title game was that it is inferior and small, barely worthy of notice. I went over to the fridge to get another water for the post game. There was no post game! At least they showed the game.

....and then it was FOURTY TWO MINUTES before there was another mention. We got 5 minutes of the Heat game, 5 minutes of the Laker game, 5 minutes on Jim Harbaugh, 5 minutes on Jeff Fischer, 5 minutes on Tom Cable, 5 minutes on the Cotton bowl, several other smaller stories, and then (oh by the way) there was a national championship game tonight.

I'm serious about going to the Gophers. UNI can't do a fvcking thing in the playoffs anymore, anyway. The bar scene for Minnesota games is cool as fvck and, at 47, I wanna have some fun at a primo tailgating scene with tens of thousands of other fans. Fvck FCS. I'm done. It ain't worth the heartache.

ESPN hates the FCS becuase they are the only division 1 football program that does the post season right.
