I cant wait to goto Husky Stadium and watch the EWU - UW game. I have sooo many friends on the west side who will be at this game!

Is there any pretense of getting the Huskies on the Red Abomination?

If for some reason I can't make the Montana at UT opener, I will come to this game.

They don't even do the pretense with FCS schools. And a Pac 12 school scheduling a game at a FCS school is a bigger fantasy than the Sirens winning the Super Bowl

Not with an FCS team.

UDub will never, ever play in Cheney… or at any other FCS team for that matter. Seeing Boise come back to the Big Sky would be more likely.

Pac 10 teams will almost never go to even a WAC teams place. WAC teams now have a by law that won't allow them to go to a FCS teams place...and you put this out there as if it were remotely possible?

Dude you have got to brush up on the real world or at least pay attention to what others say around here when a new guy asks something like this.

FBS teams don't have to put on a pretense to FCS schools because it is NEVER even on the table in the first place.

Oh? Back in the mid-'90s, the Big Sky was Sagarin-rated higher than the the supposedly I-A Big West, yet Oregon State went to UOP and LOST. If that would happen, then why the heck NOT a Big Sky school? Especially a down Pac-12 like Washington?

I will be a huge EWU fan for that weekend. UW will be breaking in a new QB (either Montana or Price) but Polk is a stud at RB for them. Their defense loses a lot of key pieces from this year, most importantly Mason Foster at LB. If EWU plays a clean game and can force the new QB into some mistakes I could see them pulling off the upset.

While it's theoretically POSSIBLE for UW to go to Cheney (as then-crappy Oregon State went to Stockton in 1995 and got beat in the midst of a 3-8 year for UOP featuring other body-bag games like Fresno State, Arizona, Nebraska, and the Oregon Ducks), what is more likely is for UW to sign a home-and-home or a front-loaded 2-for-1 WITH AN ESCAPE CLAUSE, and then when all EWU @ UW games are played, UW would then execute the escape clause with a bit of cash.

You are talking about Oregon State 15 yrs. ago going to another FBS or 1A level school with a H&H contract correct?

Show me ONE time that a Pac 10 has EVER traveled to a !AA or FCS school in the past 20 yrs. They don't do what you say they do, they do not have to. Seriously when has this happened as you have put it forth?

Ursus: Go check out Sagarin archives. At the time, the Big Sky was Sagarin-rated above the Big West. Therefore, it seems to me not too much of a stretch that the Sky would receive the same treatment as a conference they were better than back then (and likely would be now).

Who the fuck cares that the BSC was rated higher than the Big West at the time? You can not honestly believe that when a Pac 10 is making a schedule 3,4,5 yrs. in advance that they are looking at that?

THE FACT THAT THEY DON'T SCHEDULE H&h'S WITH FCS TEAMS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO REALIZE. It isn't done, it won't be done.
