Well well Saturday is almost upon us and this thread has not been started yet. I know it does not have the hype, drama, or intensity as the Brawl of the Wild, but it should be a good game. Before you tell me that ISU has yet to win a game this year and is currently holding the #2 spot in longest losing streak in FCS, they have played the Griz close in the past and we could see another one this weekend. On paper the Griz win by 50 but everybody likes to be sure, and that is why we play the games.

ISU has been plagued with injuries and have been giving up around 500 yards a week. ISU hasn't quit in any game yet this year and I don't see them doing so on Saturday. The Griz have been clicking as of late so look for BH to get the starters out early in the third quarter if the score is getting high. The Griz have some injuries of their own and would love to be able to rest them for one more week until MSU stumbles into town.

If the Griz could put up 40+ on NAU, Sac, & Northern Colorado, they should certainly score more than 34 on Idaho State.

I'm thinking 55-17 with most if not all of the 17 coming after the bench is emptied.

BH doesn't seem to like to put up a lot of points on opponents that he could beat badly. That is why I put the Griz down for a mid 30's score.

I have noticed that he is going for the jugular a little more this year and not soft shoeing it so much. That being said I think we could put up a lot more than we will with ISU. It's tough for a team to go winless as well as go undefeated in a season but ISU may do it this year.

Well it wasnt a missed PAT it was a blocked one. i dont really see why you guys are getting on Mcknights back on here and on Egriz. He cant do much if his line doesnt block for him.

Wait a second here. I wasn't getting on anybodys back, wasn't putting anybody down, or bashing him. I just said we missed a PAT in my score prediction. I think he is a good kicker, and with time he could be a very good kicker.

The griz looked terrible today. I don't know if they just weren't interested or what but they looked bad on both sides of the ball. They had some good plays here and there but it was ugly. I have to give Weber the upper hand right now. On a good day, the griz are as good as anyone. The only good thing about playing so bad is that you know they will be ready for the bobcats. It should be a good game though

Well, if you are going to have a really bad day, may as well have it against an 0-10 team. Bergquist forgot to show up in this one and the O never really got on track until the second half and then they started to run the ball like they can. ISU made some plays, some lucky - some good - they have talent they just have to put it together.

Well it looks as if I was fairly close on my score deal. Missed another FG and had a PAT blocked. The kicking game is going to cost us a game this year, I know it hasn't yet but it will come playoff time or sooner. As others have said the O came out with no energy. CB looked awful. He hesitated on deep throws and chose to run it or take a sack. Chase put in work again, he is very hard to bring down. He doesn't seem that big but he can dish it out with the best of them and has a speed burst that is very quickly implemented when given the chance. Refs were, well, Big Sky refs once again. Missing calls on both teams. Enough said about that. ISU's QB, WOW. He can throw a ball and put it on the money. I know he made some really bad decisions in the game, some of the high floaters that ISU managed to catch and a couple of bad passes for INT's but on the deep ball he is as good as they come.

On a side note, Prayers go out to the ISU player that left to St. Pats with a neck injury. He was moving his feet and hands so that is a good sign. I will hopefully have more info on him later today or Monday morning sometime. The Griz fans were very classy when that happend. The stadium went very silent. When he left he got an applause from every person in the stadium.
